Is the Professional Certification for Principals and Program Administrators program for me?
If you're a school administrator who received your residency administrator certificate in Washington state after September 2004 and you want
to earn your advanced professional certification, this is the program for you. It's convenient, flexible and you can finish in four quarters.
At City University of Seattle, you can earn your
professional certification online or in class. If you choose the
online certification program, you still have access to all the great resources CityU has to offer. Log in from any internet connection to get
assignments, discuss topics with your instructor, work on projects with a team - everything you normally do in class - without having to commute.
What will I learn in the Professional Certification for Principals and Program Administrators program?
Most importantly, you'll be in a position to improve education in our schools. But you'll do a lot for yourself, too.
You'll become a more effective leader and move your career forward. Along the way, you'll assess your development and make
a plan to stay on the right track.
When you successfully complete the program, you'll meet the standards set by the Interstate School Leadership Licensure
Consortium (ISLCC*) and be recommended for certification to the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
*Approved by 45 states in the U.S.
